Matt's Maths Academy

Matt's Maths Academy were looking for a new logo to represent their tutoring business. The brief was to include specific colours and fonts as per their existing branding and a photo or mimoji if possible. The overall design needed to look fun and appealing to children as that is who the service is aimed at. We started off looking at maths signs and equipment and decided upon a pair of compasses crossed at the bottom, with both together making the shape of the M and the one on the right with a support bar across the middle to make the shape of the A. In the background of the middle circle we added some maths symbols to make it clear what the focus of the services would be, and went for both a slightly cartoonised picture and on the opposite side a mimoji to make the logo look balanced. Colours and specified fonts were added as requested to keep in theme with the overall brand.
