Cornwall Golf Community Concept

This is a concept logo design for Cornwall Golf Community. Initially there was a call for a logo that represented golf, Cornwall, community, all inclusiveness and organisation and hosting of events. The group had already created a logo but we designed a concept to see what we could come up with anyway. The wave with the golf ball was a good way to symbolise something Cornwall is known for and the wave was slightly wrapped around the ball like a hug to signify welcoming and inclusivity. The wave also double up as the letter C for Cornwall and Community. It was placed off shore of the map of Cornwall to signify the waves breaking onto the coast. The map of Cornwall and the flag of Cornwall were used as the representatives of Cornwall. The flag also doubled up as the golf flag in the golf hole. The colours of the map of Cornwall were to show all the green land of Cornwall and also the grass of the golf course and the sand for the beaches and the bunkers on the golf course. This was all placed inside a bold circle which represented the golf ball shape and a light blue colour for the sea. The C golf ball was also incorporated into the text.
